The church in Lafayette began in 1989, maintaining a small but faithful testimony for many years, primarily among undergraduate and graduate students at Purdue. In June of 2016, the church began operating a low-power FM radio station, broadcasting the Living Stream Ministry’s Life-Study of the Bible program to the Greater Lafayette area, extending the church’s outreach across the community.

Beginning in late 2019, the Lord started adding to the church through the radio broadcast and through families moving to Lafayette, strengthening the local church life. In recent years, Purdue University’s high-ranking programs and affordable tuition have attracted more and more students who grew up among the saints to continue their studies here. Today, the average Lord’s Day attendance is 24 adults (a third of whom are college students) plus 11 young people and children.
