Following GTCA gospel trips in 2011 and 2012, saints migrated to establish the church in Normal in the summer of 2013. Presently, eleven adults and seven children meet in Normal. Twice each month, the saints combine the Lord's day meeting with the saints in nearby Peoria. There is currently no meeting hall, so the church meets in the homes and on the Illinois State University campus (ISU). There is a strong burden to gain students from ISU through the saints supporting the campus club and shepherding students in their homes. There is also a burden to care for the saints' children, leading to many warm doors for community outreach. The Lord surely wants to increase His testimony here, and we welcome many saints, especially families, to visit or migrate and join our Normal church life.
