Lexington, KY—Gospel Trip, Update 8

We started the day with morning coordination with the team, singing and enjoying the Word of God!

Today was the last day we were distributing Bibles on the campus of the University of Kentucky (UK). Some of us went around to talk to students around campus and hand out tracts; some had appointments with contacts. Many of the local saints also came to see us and support us at the table. Later, we had a Bible study and fellowship on John 6 on how Jesus is the bread of life to feed and nourish the hungry. After our time on campus, we had dinner and a blending time in the local saints’ homes. Two students from the Bible study were also able to join us for dinner in the homes and enjoyed blending with the saints in Lexington. May the Lord continue to connect the students with the saints and strengthen the saints in caring and following up with the students!

  • Bibles distributed: 12
  • 5 of our contacts attended the Bible study

Prayer Burdens:

  • Pray for the Lord’s grace in connecting the students with the local saints in Lexington and that He will strengthen the saints in Lexington in caring for the students that contacted these past two weeks.
  • Pray for the Lord’s blessing, strengthening and supplying the Bible studies on the University of Kentucky campus.
