The church in Richmond had a new beginning at the start of 2011. At that time the primary burden was for the campus, Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Since then the burden has grown to include the community saints and the abundant amount of children and young people. There is a particular need for single working adults, young married couples, middle-aged couples, and "grandparents" to migrate to Richmond. There is a growing need to establish a solid young people’s work to care for those in junior high and high school. The church currently owns a modestly-sized property directly adjacent to VCU and we are seeking the Lord's leading on how to accommodate the 45+ saints now meeting on the Lord's Day.
Virtual City Tours
Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the fields; Let us lodge in the villages. –Song of Songs 7:11
Now is the time for the advancement of the Lord's move in the United States. Amid the chaos of the pandemic, the economic upheaval, and the social unrest, the white horse of the gospel is running. May we all cooperate with the Lord by praying, giving, and spreading through migration to ten key cities in this country.
Five new campus teams have been formed, and the hope is that three hundred additional saints would migrate to these ten target cities. To help facilitate this move, we have arranged virtual tours of each city in the last two weekends of September, in which the attendees will meet the local saints and receive an overview of the situation and needs in that locality.
