Lexington, KY
Download a report to learn more about the city.
The church in Lexington took the ground in 2010 and has grown to 30 adults, 15 children, and 7 university students. While we continue to enjoy the small groups in the community, we are especially burdened for the Lord’s work at the University of Kentucky (UK). There are 5 saints who are faculty members on the UK campus, which has opened up the way for the full-timers that move to Lexington to have a strong campus team. UK (Kentucky’s flagship state university) has 32,000 students, the largest student population in the state. There is a need for couples and full-time saints with a burden to shepherd students from the campus. We hope to one day purchase property next to UK so the Lord can have a free way to reach the students.
Virtual City Tours
Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the fields; Let us lodge in the villages. –Song of Songs 7:11
Now is the time for the advancement of the Lord's move in the United States. Amid the chaos of the pandemic, the economic upheaval, and the social unrest, the white horse of the gospel is running. May we all cooperate with the Lord by praying, giving, and spreading through migration to ten key cities in this country.
Five new campus teams have been formed, and the hope is that three hundred additional saints would migrate to these ten target cities. To help facilitate this move, we have arranged virtual tours of each city in the last two weekends of September, in which the attendees will meet the local saints and receive an overview of the situation and needs in that locality.
